A curious note on how we should eat, during peak, or on the weeks coming up to comp…

Some of us have nutritionists to help us with this, but as a general topic, should we be increasing what we have in our diets, before comps?

For example, if someone has been working off a 3/4/5 thousand calorie diet for most of their training, is it wise to eat more, to intake more nutrients, etc. While we’re lowering the amount of weight we’re lifting for the last few weeks, prior to comp?
